SKIN TUTORIAL:

1. First start out with the preferred line art. The shading will correspond as it the light was coming from the upper left-hand corner.

2. Open a new layer for the base skin tone. With the skin color you choose, use the binary pen tool to fill in the skin area. It's okay if it's messy; we'll fix that up later.

3. Open a new layer above the base layer and change it to 'multiply'. Using the marker tool and a darker shade, shade the far right sides of the skin. I would try and use references for this part because, well... i'm not the best at explaining things xD

4. use the blur tool to blur the edges. Adjust the Opacity to your liking.

5 & 6. Open another multiply layer. Using an even darker color, go around the edge's of everything. (Arms, head, etc.) Repeat step 4.

7. Open a new layer and make it Luminosity. Using any of the tools, with a lighter color than your base skin tone, highlight the far left sides of the skin. Also lightly highlight the highest parts of the body. (Arms, forehead, breasts, etc)

8. Make another luminosity layer. Use the pen tool and the same light color to make little lines around the edges of the body. This part is optional; it only adds a little more detail to the finished product.

9. If you want blush, take a pink/peach color and (since i don't know how to explain it correctly) use the picture for this step as a reference. Blur and adjust the opacity.

10. Now is the time to clean up the base layer. Use the eraser tool to get rid of the excess color. Now the skins done! :

I really hoped this has helped! This is just my current way of coloring skin so it might change.

Good luck you guys! :D
